Our initial suspicions were right. In the end the thief of all of us (us being , me, piggypie, belokk, sanhai) was in fact dear old jackie boy, or kanrik in dofus on the rushu server.
The story is, that he wanted to go out with a bang. Apparently he wanted to do something so screwed up that if he came back to dofus no one would like him and thus he would have more incentive to stay away. I call bull shits but what ever we all got our gear back and hes quit. Alls good in the world of the twelve.
So why isnt this in the imps village scammer registry?
Well theres multiple reasons why, that screen shot up there is the only substantial proof in the pictar form that we have that he did it. I mean scamming multiple people whom only he had access to all of us (as the least common denominator) is still proof but it just doesnt hold up well enough i guess.
Theres also the fact that we were asked not to by a certain mod. Apparently we should have some sympathy for him :O
Honestly, i think if this mod were not involved not one of us would have seen our gear again. Its a bad thing to say but thats the nature of dofus, and i for one will not par take in the sympathy fest for our once in game friend who got bored one day.
I honestly believe he was probably gonna sell all that gear and just buy a new character and sell his level 200 cra. Like he usually does, i dont know how many level 199 chars hes bought and sold these last few years but it got pretty ridiculous, but i guess its even more ridiculous of me for sharing my character with him knowing full well his background. Lesson learned, and i got off with a warning too. Sweat deal.
All said and done, i still think a Fuck you to jack is still the perfect expression for this whole situation.
